  • To ensure the best germination, the temperature must be at least 20°C. Sow seeds point-side down, 1.5 cm deep, in small pots with peat-free compost. Plant outdoors 90 cm apart from late May, once frosts have passed.

Sow indoors: April to early June

Plant out: Late May to July

    Harvest: September to October

Check out our Grow & Cook section for more growing tips.

  • Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin is perfect for soups, casseroles, curries, pies, and more. We love puréeing it for baked goods like muffins, brownies, tray bakes, pancakes, and, of course, pumpkin pies.
