  • Thrives in sunny, well-drained spots, perfect for pots or raised beds. Sow seeds in modular trays with moist, peat-free seed compost. Sprinkle seeds on top, do not cover, as they need light to germinate. Maintain a temperature of 10°C or higher. Water from the base until true leaves form.

    Sow: February to June

    Plant out: May to July

    Harvest: May to November

Check out our Grow & Cook section for more growing tips.

  • Red-stemmed leaf celery has a vibrant, peppery flavour that enhances soups, stews, and salads. Chop the leaves finely for seasoning, or use the stems for a crunchy texture in stir-fries or as an aromatic base for sauces. It also makes a great garnish for Bloody Mary cocktails.
