Ireland’s 100 best independent shops - we made the list
We’re beyond delighted that our Honesty Farm Shop has been named one of Ireland’s 100 Best Independent Shops by the Irish Independent - and we’re proud to be the only Wexford shop featured in this year’s roundup.

“Anthony O’Toole’s edible garden is the source of all the produce for his tiny honest shop near Camolin in Co Wexford, best located by Eircode Y21RD60. As well as a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables more exotic than you might expect to be grown in Ireland, and a fabulously multi-coloured selection of eggs from his seriously classy hens, O’Toole, a chef by training, sells all manner of chutneys, cordials and other preserves, some made with his crop of Irish peaches. (We think fig leaf and lime cordial has great cocktail potential). Fat Tomato is all about sharing the joy, so O’Toole often has edible plants and packets of seeds for sale. fattomato.ie”
We’re in great company, but it’s especially heartening to see our tiny hilltop shop - full of heritage seeds, small-batch flavours, edible plants and good old-fashioned curiosity - recognised alongside so many other brilliant independent businesses across the country.
