Our damsons are small, dark and intensely flavoured — rich, sharp and full of depth. Not a fruit that plays quietly in the background, but one that brings structure, brightness and a certain wild edge to everything it touches.

Each season, we harvest the fruit and capture that unmistakable flavour in small batches, exploring different sides of the damson — from bright and refreshing to deep and savoury.

The Damson Honey Cordial captures the fruit’s vivid tartness and floral sweetness, perfect in drinks, morning porridge or drizzled over ice cream and Pavlova. The Damson Apple Gin Jam brings warmth and softness, layered with delicate botanical notes.

At the other end, our Damson Umami Sauce offers something entirely different — a rich, savoury interpretation inspired by hoisin, layered with spice, sweetness, acidity and deep natural umami.

Together, they form a complete expression of the damson — bright, bold, savoury, sweet and quietly unexpected.

Finished with a small illustrated keepsake, this is a box for those who enjoy flavour with a little edge.

Each box is presented in our signature black gift box, lined with illustrated paper and wrapped in a cornpaper sleeve that tells the Fat Tomato story.
