We are delighted to share that Fat Tomato has been nominated for Innovator of the Year at the Irish Restaurant Awards 2026.

It is encouraging to see a seed-led, biodiversity-focused project recognised on one of Ireland’s largest hospitality platforms.

Fat Tomato began as a hillside experiment in North Wexford - growing heritage varieties for flavour, saving seed with care, and designing one-of-a-kind flavours and memorable gifts from what the land gives us.

Innovation is not about scale. It is about thinking differently.
