FOOD&WINE Innovator of the Year Finalist 2026

Fat Tomato and Anthony O’Toole have been shortlisted for Innovator of the Year at the FOOD&WINE Restaurant of the Year Awards 2026, marking the second consecutive year that Anthony’s work with Fat Tomato has received this national recognition.

The shortlist was revealed by Gillian Nelis in last Sunday’s Business Post and celebrates some of the most exciting people and places working across Irish food today.

For Fat Tomato, the recognition reflects a different approach to food innovation — one rooted in biodiversity, seasonality, heritage varieties and the creation of one-of-a-kind flavours from our tiny hillside garden in North Wexford.

The awards ceremony takes place in November. Wish us luck!
