Catch Anthony at Beyond the Pale Festival
Anthony is excited to join the Beyond the Plate series at Beyond the Pale festival, a vibrant weekend of talks, tastings, and tales celebrating the rich tapestry of Irish food, drink, and hospitality.
Now in its fourth year, Beyond the Plate blends food, drink, culture, art, and craic - exploring how culinary traditions, hospitality, and storytelling connect our history, nature, and future. It’s the perfect festival tent to chill, learn, listen, taste, and have fun.
Anthony will share the story of Fat Tomato - his edible organic garden and horticulture project where he grows over 500 varieties of heritage fruits, herbs, and vegetables, crafts small-batch products from the harvest, and runs one of the most stylish honesty farm shops in Ireland.
He’s looking forward to chatting with Ali Dunworth, curator of Beyond the Plate, about sustainable growing, seed sovereignty, and his ambitious future plans for Fat Tomato. Anthony envisions it as a destination - a place where gardeners, farmers, producers, chefs, artists, designers, writers, and other creatives can escape, hide, breathe, and recharge.
