Bottled Heritage Tomatoes

€6.50
Coming Soon

At Fat Tomato, we grow over 100 heritage tomato varieties every year, varying in colours, sizes, textures, and flavours. Some are delicious to eat fresh with flaky Irish sea salt and maybe some extra virgin olive oil, while others have a fleshy texture that makes beautiful sauces, jams, and chutneys.

During tomato season, we eat tomatoes night, noon, and morning, as they bring us so much joy after the months of growing them from February. We also preserve tomatoes in various ways for the year ahead.

We love having some bottled tomatoes in the press for those pasta, fish, meat and vegetable dishes. We only bottle the best-tasting tomatoes every year. Some are sweet, while others bring that acidity and freshness you need for a tomato-based sauce. Tomatoes in a bottle are simply preserved with garlic and red and green basil. They taste as beautiful as they look.

Due to the crazy weather this year, we only have a handful of jars to sell.

250ml glass bottle

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
